Upendra Matte Baa Movie Review:

This film is Based on Telugu film Soggade Chinni Nayana staring Nagarjuna in lead role. The project marks the reunion of Upendra with director Loki after their previous film H20 in 2002.

As the film jumps between these two plotlines, logic and narrative are the main victims, making the film feel even longer than its two-and-a-half-hour runtime. If you’re a fan of the trademark Uppi energy, there’s probably enough here to keep you satisfied.

It also marks the comeback of actress Prema to films after a long hiatus which she took after Shishira. The idea to rope in Prema to fit into the shoes of Ramya Krishnan must be appreciated. Her pairing with Upendra brings the 1999 film Upendra to mind. This bit does work pretty well.

Upendra Matte Baa Movie Rating: 2.5/5
