Haseena Parkar Review & Story Plot:

Haseena Parkar Movie Story:

Haseena Parkar is an Indian biological crime film based on the life of Haseena Parkar. Haseena was the sister of terrorist Dawood Ibrahim and handled the operations of his crime syndicate in Mumbai. She died of a cardiac arrest in July 2014.

This courtroom drama tries to decode the life and criminal activities of India’s most wanted fugitive – late Haseena Parkar, who allegedly headed her brother’s crime syndicate in Mumbai and ran proxy business for him.

The film shuttles between past and present, it passionately lists down the gang wars and events that led to Dawood’s rise as a crime lord-terrorist and its repercussions on his family, including his sister Haseena, who was summoned to the Court only once (2007), despite the many offences registered against her.

Haseena Parkar Movie Review:

Haseena Parkar is a unique film among the lot other gangster films. This will be the first time that the audience will witness the saga of the Mumbai mafia through a woman’s perspective. Haseena, played by Shraddha Kapoor, was the daughter of a Mumbai Police Constable and sister of Dawood Ibrahim (interestingly the role of Dawood is played by Shraddha’s brother Siddhanth Kapoor).

The film won’t just show Shraddha in a completely never-seen-before avatar but also because it is based on the famed gangster Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena. It is considered to be the riskiest film of Shraddha’s career. This is one of most challenging roles essayed by Shraddha because she has had to portray a naive girl in her twenties growing into a fearless woman in her forties. To play the biographical film convincingly, she has undergone a lot of preparation. The hardest was perhaps the physical transformation for which she gained 9 kilos.

Haseena Parkar Movie Rating: 2/5
