The 15th Santosham South Indian Film Awards took place in Hyderabad on Saturday night. The most happening couple in Tollywood won the Best actor awards. Naga Chaitanya, who’s getting married to Samantha, has received the best actor award for 2016 release ‘Premam’ at Santosham South Indian Film Awards, while Samantha elected as ‘best actress’ for ‘A..Aa’.
Naga Chaitanya received the award from mega producer Allu Aravind and said, “The Malayalam version of Premam starring Nivin Pauly, Madonna Sebastian, Sai Pallavi, and Anupama Parameswaran, had immense impact on me and audiences, which helped me to gain applause from critics as well.”
The Best film award was bagged by Pelli Choopulu and the Best director Award went for Boyapati Srinu for action entertainer Sarrainodu whereas Aadi Pinisetty also won best villain award for the same flick.
Telugu movies audience are well aware of Santosham Awards. These awards are presented every year by Santosham film magazine. There is also another highlight this year. Santosham magazine will complete 14 years and enter into 15th year in this August.
